Tasting Notes
Our 2014 Puffin Pinot Noir opens with enticing aromas of red cherry and raspberry paired with classic Oregon Pinot Noir forest floor in the background. Flavors of red cherry, plum, earth and spice appear in the mid-palate. This wine is nicely balanced, which gives it a clean finish matched with soft tannins.
Food Pairing
This food-friendly Pinot Noir pairs nicely with a wide variety of foods, including salmon, tuna, portabella, turkey and tofu. It also pairs surprisingly well with salads, chicken and pork, including bacon.
