We call this our "Chardonnay for people who don't like Chardonnay". Why? Because this isn't an oaky, buttery style Chardonnay.
Tasting Notes
Instead, this delightful straw colored Chardonnay offers aromas of mango and papaya that grab your attention. Subtle aromas of apple and honey follow and make this a wine to savor!
In the mouth, this cool climate Chardonnay is soft from start to finish. Tropical flavors make their presence known, as do notes of hazelnut which linger well into the finish.
Food Pairing
Serve slightly chilled. This food friendly Chardonnay pairs nicely with a wide variety of foods, including cheese plates, salads, and crab cakes. It also is a nice companion for a summer day at the beach or on the patio.
Product Notes
The fruit for this delicious Chardonnay is sourced from one of the northernmost vineyards in the Willamette Valley, Aggravation Hill Vineyard, located outside of Banks, OR. The wine goes thru malolactic fermentation and is aged in French oak.
